Two of my favorite things to wear in winter, leather and fur. Leather dress that doubles as a trench coat? Amaze... and I can't stop staring at this spotted fur jacket or the beautiful Asian blogger of Fashion Distraction wearing it. The confidence that emits from her is just... simply stunning. Back to the jacket... I remember my very first fur jacket. I was 7 or 8 years old and it was a cropped white rabbit jacket, very boxy and 60's-ish, and would today be perfect over a long black maxi dress. There are certain pieces I remember quite clearly from my childhood closet, and time and time again, I am always reminded that my mother had and still has great taste. That's not something that a lot of women can say about their mothers, and I'm still mourning the fact that of all the things she's taught me, sewing never stuck with me. I blame my 9th grade HomeEc teacher for that..

I haven't done an outfit post in a while, and it's strictly been due to the fact that I've been unmotivated during the weekends to do more than workout, sleep, and catch up with friends after a long week of shooting. BUT, I do have some amazing finds that I am quite excited to showcase so dressing up when possible is this week's goal. I also just baked, frosted, and decorated several dozen cupcakes so... yea.
