It has been literally years since I have made it out to an art showing and after today's exhibit at Bergamot Station, I'm glad to realize what I've been missing! Johanna Vanderspool, a dear friend and artist extraordinaire, donated two beautifully matted original prints towards creativeLA, a gallery hosting of sorts that donates sales proceeds to charity. Works of art included digital photography, prints, and 3rd dimension canvases. Kudos also to the free copies of Los Angeles magazine, DJ spins, candy, and drink tickets.
We took advantage of the food trucks and promotional photo booth outside- pretty much an amazing way to spend a summer afternoon. So excited for more later in August!
