I'm not feeling this ballet slipper style. At all. Intrigue and exposure towards the studio (Bar Method, try it) and in turn towards classic ballet flats like Repetto and Lanvin led me to this... an overstuffed, over pleated over coat of a shoe. A slipper is of balletic disposition... it is graceful, delicate, and models shape and strength beautifully. I tried to find the ingenuity but it's lost on me with this "out door/indoor" houseshoe/slipper combo and it definitely is not resonating any familiarity to the components of the maryjane design. Agreed? Ok, moving on.
