Gilt Groupe held a contest through their Facebook page back in April for several amazing items listed from their website that fans could win simply by liking their page. And guess who won a little somethin', somethin'?
And I never win anything. I'm the girl who goes to Vegas (as I will be later this month!) and does three things: 1) lays by the pool, 2) shops, and 3) buys tickets to see The Beatles LOVE show (3 times folks, it is that spectacular). Needless to say, I was pretty much all smiles when the company's promotional sales team emailed me to inform yours truly that finally, yes! The lotto gods have thrown me a bone! So, please head over to Gilt Groupe's Facebook page for future opportunities to win.
Now that the excitement over the bag has waned a bit, onwards to the day's clothing. I've always been a fan of BCBG, a bit obsessive in fact, since 80% of my high school and college wardrobe consisted of their ready-to-wear collections. It wasn't until I started making a living that I really started to explore other designers beyond the pages VOGUE. One of my most cherished pieces from this outfit post is the jacket. Oh, Veda makes a beautifully cut jacket if there was ever anything cut so perfect for my shape. I am wearing a jacket from their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection: lambskin faded black leather with an overall hint of silver sparkle with knit undersides, fully lined, and zips up asymmetrically with a high collar. This jacket is still available on many shopping sites in spring colors: light pink (Nordstrom) and olive (Shopbop). The Diane Von Furstenberg booties are from Gilt Groupe (see a pattern here?), but are currently available through The Outnet and 50% off here.
That all being said, it's Friday!
I wish all of you a fantastic weekend-
xo
