Using a dark palette as a base, Chanel presented light weight, floor length overcoats, jewel toned pants featuring a button clasped closure at the hem, and shimmering threading throughout.

A spin on the sheer trend we've been seeing so far this season:
Sheer textured skirts over cigarette pants.
Ruffles and heavy seams on tops as a veil attempt to cover the nips.

I do think it's interesting how they took their staple skirt suit and layered it over slim pants and long sleeves. I would imagine it would be a breath of fresh air away from leggings and tights if I was lucky enough to own one!

Someday... when I'm older and feeling the need for tweed. Vive le Chanel!
