Despite being fairly "unnatural"in more ways than one, one thing for sure is Los Angeles building owners know the appeal of sitting pretty. I'm pretty smitten about the exterior mirror on the entrance door at Brads on 3rd St (I know, I caught someone in the reflection) and there's something very romantic about iron wrought staircases and red brick. Brick and mortar go a long way too, and it's fairly cheap to encase a store front with it.
