LATELY: buttoned up and a tiny leather jacket

Now is the perfect weather to wear leather: the sun is shining but still a bite in the air. Nothing is worse than sweating in leather so it's been a promising week as I've been wearing my 3 favorite leather pieces. Joie leather shorts purchased but momentarily forgotten and revived and a pink silk Equipment blouse are always a sure pairing. I really love the quality of both and an Equipment blouse, at least in white, is a closet essential. I love rolling the sleeves up for a more casual take. Wore this with the new Joie booties purchased during my morning routine of sale browsing. 

VEDA makes a fantastically cut leather jacket and I especially love the draping in the collar- just the right amount without feeling excessive. Lined in silk with an interior buttoned pocket. The boots... oh good graces the boots. The Aniela in grey last seen here, purchased on eBay and worth every penny. Isabel Marant makes a gorgeous pair of boots and the quality and comfort levels are sky high. Total fan for life.

Lesson of the day: can't go wrong with a tiny leather jacket and boots.
